Dubai, June 27, 2011
Brother International (Gulf), a leader in home and business IT peripherals, recently honoured its top regional performing partners in a strategic business planning workshop held recently in Barcelona.
Bahrain-based partner Ashraf’s received the award for the ‘Best Marketing Initiatives in the Region’ for its implementation of key marketing strategies across all segments of the market.
More than 15 partner distributors coming from 12 countries across the Middle East region, GCC and the African region were present during the three-day affair.
The event proved to be a strategic platform for partners and senior Brother Executives to discuss key challenges in today’s rapidly growing printer market segments and also develop key solutions and strategies to help raise revenues and promote Brother’s diverse range of printing equipment, a statement said.
According to Brother senior officials, the company is looking to achieve 22 per cent growth in revenues by 2011.
“Brother is pleased to announce the success of this year’s annual business planning workshop, a yearly event that not only allows us to develop stronger ties with our key partners and associates but also gives us the opportunity to give due recognition to our top performers for this year,“ said Shinji Tada, managing director, Brother International (Gulf).
“We extend our heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to partners like Ashraf’s in Bahrain, who have been instrumental in our company’s move to consolidate its leadership in the different printer segments. Being able to sit down and discuss the key challenges of today’s printer markets and develop solutions and campaigns to effect better sales performances.”
This is the second time that Brother’s annual business planning workshop was held outside of Dubai and complements the company’s strategic initiative to develop stronger business ties with their key partners from across the different regions where Brother maintains key presence, according to the statement.
“Brother has always believed in keeping an interactive relationship with its distribution partners and also towards meeting the demands and requirements of our customers,” Tada continued.
“Implementing these strategies not only gives us a better understanding of the printer market and its different segments but also allows us to develop key solutions based on new technologies. Our event in Barcelona has helped us in determining the direction we wish to take and the goals we have set for our different products. Rest assured, we remain fully committed in providing our customers with world class high quality printers and accessories,” concluded Tada. – TradeArabia News Service
