Fujifilm unveils new compact 3D camera

Fujifilm, a major photographic and imaging company, has launched a new compact 3D camera, featuring a new sensor-driven technology which allows low-noise, high-speed shooting and has improved light sensitivity.
Fujifilm and Grand Stores, a leading UAE-based luxury brand retailer, said that the new EXR CMOS offers a versatile choice of imaging technology to professional as well as amateur photographers.
Takeshi Higuchi, board member of Fujifilm Holdings and senior executive vice president of Fujifilm, said: “The new range endorses our endeavor to bring the ultimate in imaging technology and the world’s best to our discerning customers in the UAE and the region.”
“We are proud to introduce the EXR CMOS technology, the FinePix Real 3D W3, our second product in the 3D compact range and the first in the world to shoot movies in HD, as well as FinePix X 100 which comes with a hybrid viewfinder.”
“We have been present in the Middle East since 1970s and in the last few years have taken steps to be closer to our regional customers including opening a Middle East subsidiary last year to strengthen our logistical capabilities,” he added.
“We are confident of churning out more volumes for imaging technology products in the region and anticipating growth we have decided to expand our physical presence by opening a regional Mena headquarters in Dubai,” Higuchi concluded, adding that “more resources will be committed to expand marketing and to enhance presence in the region.”
