Emirates Co-op cuts key products rates

Emirates Cooperative Society, a leading supermarket chain in Dubai, said it will sell all essential food and non-food items at a lower price for a limited period as part of its latest promotion.

The supermarket said as part of the new  promotion it has cut rates on essential products by about 50 per cent till February 12 to help customers during this economic crisis.

'Keeping the current economic situation we have lowered our prices in all our seven branches across Dubai and Hatta till February 12. We have selected 60 items from fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, bakery, rice, oils, beverages and other essential household items, said Farid Al Shamandy, the general manager of Emirates Cooperative Society.

Al Shamandy said customers can also avail of the free home delivery service by placing an order with the call center on 800-327.

'The 50 per cent price cut is a strategic vision of our board of directors. It is our way of contributing back to the society by providing a short relief from rising food prices,' he added.-TradeArabia News Service
