Chinese air conditioning giant Midea has signed up UAE-based Elapco as partner for marketing and distribution of its green compliant energy-efficient line of air-conditioners in the emirates, Iraq and Sudan.

A major manufacturer of domestic appliances and air conditioning systems, Midea said all the company's products have been awarded the ISO9001 International Quality Certification.

Commenting on the tie-up Hasan Alami, managing director of Elapco Group said, “Our valued customers will now have access to a more comprehensive green complaint air-conditioning products from Midea and MDV. In addition the new range also offers tailor-made solutions as per environmental needs and customers requirements.”

“Through this tie-up we aspire to reach new prospects in these emerging markets,' said Alami after signing the agreement.

'Midea is the top manufacturer of commercial and domestic air-conditioning segment today and we are happy to extend this partnership to our customers in the UAE, Iraq and Sudan as well,” he added.

Elapco group will carry Midea and MDV’s full range of ACs - from window, split, ducted split to roof-top package, AHU, VRF units and Chillers and the products range from 1 ton (1.5HP) to 2000 tons (2500HP).

Midea has recently offered its comprehensive air-conditioning solutions to key projects including Beijing Capital International Airport (China), Dubai Metro Stations, Sierra Grand, (Australia), Gorbushkin Dvor Mall (Russia) and Mumbai Little World Mall.-TradeArabia News Service
