Brother to showcase new labeling solutions

Brother Gulf, a global leader in printing and digital imaging products, will showcase its latest line of labeling solutions at an ongoing an ongoing communications exhibition and conference in Abu Dhabi.
The fourth edition of the Middle East International Communications Exhibition (Mecom 2010) will run until May 19 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).
Brother Gulf will display its PT-7600, a professional portable labeling machine among other models, dedicated to meet labeling print requirements for telecom networking and electrical applications.
“With the local enterprise communications market’s increasing dependence on technology-enabled solutions to boost efficiency, we continue to invest in the development of products that can address their specific demands,” said Shinji Tada, managing director, Brother Gulf.
“Our participation in Mecom 2010 is part of our efforts to draw significant attention to our professional and durable labeling solutions among telecom, networking and IT professionals representing corporate and government sectors,” he added.
“We are also seeking to meet face to face and conduct product demonstrations for entities that can open up opportunities in major corporate and government projects, and identify key resellers and contractors within the telecom and networking markets.”
Creating custom labels using P-touch labeling machines and durable labels offers four key benefits – professional installation, ease of maintenance, ease of operation and safety, a statement said.
As Brother’s flagship professional portable labeling machine, the PT-7600 incorporates built-in label formats that serve electrical industry applications including normal, port, panel, cable, rotate, rotate and repeat, and vertical.
It can also upload database and label designs using USB interface, print barcode, electrical, audio and video symbols, and accept 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm and 24 mm TZ tapes.
Designed for maximum durability, PT-7600 also boasts of a backlit LCD display, rechargeable battery and automatic numbering.
In addition to the PT-7600, Brother will also showcase three other models under its professional labeling machine range.
This includes the PT-9700PC and PT-9800PCN (new network model), which both accept 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm, 24 mm and 36 mm TZ tapes and capable of database and barcode printing.
“Our presence during the previous Mecom event has enabled us to secure orders from a number of recognised telecom and networking companies, which has made a significant impact in our goal to position P-touch as the professional labeling solution of the telecom industry,” Tada continued.
