Philips wins 12 red dot design awards

Royal Philips Electronics, a diversified health and well-being company, recently won 12 awards for product design from red dot, an internationally recognised quality label for excellence in design.

With more than 12,000 submissions from more than 60 countries, the international “red dot design award” is the largest and most renowned design competition in the world. The award-winning products are put before an international public in the red dot design museum.

Some of the products that were awarded include Philips’ range of kitchen appliances including blenders, animal and classic teethers, HD home theatre system, speaker systems, lamps and light switches.

Next to the 10 red dot awards for Philips products, Philips Design also received two red dot awards for products designed for external companies; the Ultro discussion system designed for Bosch Security Systems and the Philips Xenium X712 mobile phone designed for Sang Fei. – TradeArabia News Service
