The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) said that a popular market will resume operations on Friday following the adoption of organizational, environmental and traffic procedures, in addition to removing some irregular practices.

GAM, in coordination with the Capital Governor, has previously closed the Friday Abdali Popular Market temporarily, for two weeks.

Mayor of Amman, Omar Maani instructed the departments concerned at GAM to expedite the necessary procedures to reopen the market which is frequented by citizens and tourists as a comprehensive market for commodities, supplies, souvenirs, and gifts. – TradeArabia News Service
