Swiss watch-maker Roger Dubuis said it has signed a partnership agreement with Damas naming it as the company's official retailer in Dubai.

Following the announcement, Damas will be the sole point of sale in the city for Roger Dubuis’ collection of watches and jewellery, that includes the Kingsquare, Excalibur and Easydiver watch collections.

Chief executive officer of Manufacture Roger Dubuis, Matthias Schuler, said: “Damas is a pioneer of the luxury industry in the Middle East and Roger Dubuis is synonymous with high quality and luxury. We are confident that this partnership will help us to achieve further growth within the Middle East market and we look forward to the year ahead.”

With expansion plans across the Middle East in the pipeline, the new partnership is seen as the first step for Roger Dubuis towards making its mark in the Middle East’s connoisseur markets in Haute Horlogerie.

Damas, a home-grown watch and jewellery retailer established in 1955, has established a network of operations across Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, Italy and India. Roger Dubuis will be sold exclusively at Damas locations across the Middle East and India.
