Tag Heuer, reputed Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, has launched its new sports watch, which can meet the extreme requirements of professional deep-sea diving.

Tag Heuer’s new Aquaracer 500m Calibre 5, the latest addition to the Aquaracer collection, is guaranteed a water resistance of up to 500 metres, said a statement.

It features a unidirectional turning bezel, an emblematic design component and an essential safety feature that makes the model instantly recognizable as a diving watch. The brushed steel numerals are surrounded by rubber molding.

The 43mm brushed-steel case is fitted with six studs to facilitate handling with diving gloves. The fine-brushed, color-coated, screw-in crown has double safety gaskets to prevent dust or water penetration.

Special luminescence markers on the hands, indexes and an orange-tipped secondhand make reading easy in dim light or under water. “500 M” appears next to the large date window at 9 o’clock, which is magnified. “Calibre 5” and “Automatic” appear at 6 o’clock.

The Aquaracer also features an automatic helium release valve providing functionality for professional divers operating at great depths for prolonged periods of time. For better visibility, the crystal’s interior is anti-reflection treated. – TradeArabia News Service
