Dubai oil retailers Enoc, Emarat and Eppco, have reduced diesel prices by Dh0.60 per gallon, following the slump in global oil prices, a report said.

Now retail price of diesel in Dubai has come down to Dh13.35 per gallon from Dh13.95, in the 11th straight cut since July 28, when diesel was selling at a record high of Dh19.25 a gallon, according to the Gulf News report.

With this price reduction, the difference between Dubai and Abu Dhabi diesel prices has come down to 55.23 per cent. It is to be noted that Abu Dhabi had maintained the retail price of diesel at Dh8.60 per gallon, even when global oil prices hit a whopping $147.27 per gallon in July this year.
