Bahrain City Centre to offer top labels

Manama, July 27, 2008

Bahrain City Centre will open its doors in September to one of the largest selections of designer clothing available under one roof.

With a gross built-up area of almost half a million square metres and 350 retail outlets carrying over 200 top brands, Bahrain City Centre will offer a one-stop solution for even the most serious designer-label hunter, said a spokesman.

Bahrain City Centre will be home to a number of stylish stores including SAKS Fifth Avenue, H&M, Aizone, Debenhams, Centre Point, Home Centre, Paris Gallery, Zara, Mango and Massimo Dutti.

A number of top brand names will be making an appearance on the island for the first time including: New Look, Dumont, Galliano, Lucky Jeans, Monet Co, Sfera and Xoxo.

Shahram Shamsaee, senior vice-president of asset management at MAF Shopping Malls, which is behind the venture, believes that the new centre will provide the perfect destination for committed followers of fashion.

“Bahrain City Centre will boast the full spectrum of top-label garments and accessories for men and women, which will be available through its exclusive stores and dedicated boutiques,” he said.

“From September, residents and tourists in Bahrain will be treated to one of the largest selections of designer apparel available under one roof in the region. We are anticipating that this new development will see Bahrain increasing its international presence in the style arena,” he added.

The Bahrain City Centre will also offer tailor-made services for the ultimate in luxury pampering, such as private shopping areas where VIP guests and customers who have made special bookings will be entertained.

As these visitors relax in plush surroundings with a meal or refreshments, personal assistants will bring out preferred garments and accessories, allowing guests to try on the latest must-have items in peace. Personal stylists will also be on hand, offering professional glamour tips on how to complete that new look. –TradeArabia News Service
