Sports retailer Sun and Sand Sports has launched the NikeWomen Spring 08 collection of apparel, shoes and accessories.

The collection offers a redesigned approach to the apparel and now has more variation in fit across the collection, the company said in a statement.

The NikeWomen Spring 2008 collection now boasts five different leg lengths and five different width variations for body wear to ensure a faultless fit relevant to the activity. The Spring 2008 line features apparel and accessories for cardio, dance fitness, running, swimming and yoga disciplines as well as a vintage inspired “sport culture” line, with the entire collection accentuating style and functionality between the body and the environment.

“Nike has gone to great lengths to understand the needs of the various disciplines and realise that performance and enjoyment of any activity whether it be running or dance should not be hampered by clothes that make you feel uncomfortable. Nike has developed apparel that works with the athlete to enhance their performance,” said Salman Basheer, marketing manager for Sun and Sand Sports in Dubai.
