Montblanc has launched its unique collection of Haute Joaillerie creations with the world premiere of the 12 carat Montblanc diamond.

International celebrities including Hollywood stars Hilary Swank, super model Elle MacPherson, Academy Award winning actress Kristin Scott Thomas and actress and environmental activist Daryl Hannah as well as Chinese model Mary Ma, Chinese actress Li Bing Bing and Maggie Q were among the special guests at the launch ceremony in Shanghai.

The collection was launched with much fanfare with a musical performance recreating the heady 1930’s, while showcasing the new era of luxury and glamour. 60 dancers from the UK and America, international singers from Australia and the UK with backgrounds as diverse as the Royal Opera and Phantom of the Opera, a full theatre orchestra and a stage setting that combined with over 160 costumes brought together the best of Broadway and the great black and white films of Busby Berkley with the technology and glamour of the 21st century.

The flawless Montblanc Diamond (12 carat in D colour and IF clarity) formed the centrepiece of the magnificent necklace with briolette diamonds (3,050 stones for a total weight of 378,74 ct). The necklace was launched together with superb matching earrings with dancing briolette cut diamonds (196 stones for a total weight of 22,19 ct) and 2 Montblanc diamonds of 1,10 ct and 1,12 ct in D colour and IF clarity, the luxury goods manufacturer said in a statement.
