De Beers Astri range sales soar to $24m

De Beers Group Marketing, the largest producer of cut diamonds in the world, has sold 17,000 pieces of Astri jewellery range reaching sales worth $24 million.
“The lunar inspired, women’s range hit the region’s market in time for the start of Ramadan and, in just 30 days, managed to achieve some of the most impressive sales across all our ranges during this period,” said Diamond Promotion Service (DPS) director of De Beers Group Marketing Anan Fakhreddin.
“Diamonds continue to sell exponentially in the Middle East region, and the success of the Astri range, aimed at a younger, trendier market, has reinforced the extraordinary appeal of diamonds,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
