The Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) was recently honoured as the ‘Best CSR and Sustainability Company’ during a ceremony which was held by the Arabia CSR Network in Dubai, UAE.

Sipchem was selected for this award in the 'Large Business Category' due to its programmes and efforts in the field of sustainability, which the company considers to be one of the cornerstones of its principles and values that drive the growth of its business in an effective and sustainable manner, as well as achieving its environmental and social balance, said a statement from the company.

The Arab CSR Award is a programme developed for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) and aims to encourage institutions in the Arab world to intensify their CSR efforts and celebrate their achievements with the public by awarding them and stimulating the interest of other companies and institutions to develop their sustainability performance to be more responsible towards the community. – TradeArabia News Service
