Abu Dhabi NPCC wins $450m Adnoc contracts

ABU DHABI, June 26, 2018

UAE-based National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has been awarded an Dh1.65-billion ($450 million) contract by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) to develop its Bu Haseer offshore field in Bahrain, said a report.

NPCC is a unit of Senaat Abu Dhabi, a leading UAE-based industrial investment holding company.

As per the deal, Adnoc plans to boost the output of Bu Haseer field to 16,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the coming few years, reported Mubasher.

NPCC will also be developing 2,3 and 4 blocks, which involve onshore works in Das Island in the UAE, in addition to pumping water into Zirkuh Island, under this deal, it stated.

These projects are likely to be completed by June 2021, it added.
