Morocco solar body invites bids for 400MW plant
RABAT, January 11, 2016
Masen, Morocco's agency for solar power, has invited bids for the development of a solar power plant with a total capacity of 400 MW, a report said.
International bids have been called from February 1 for the development of the first phase of the Noor Midelt solar power project, according to a report in Ifpinfo.com, which cited SeeNews.
The NoorMidelt, which will be implemented under the independent power producer (IPP) scheme, will comprise one or several power plants with a hybrid technology, combining concentrated solar power (CSP) with photovoltaics (PV), said the report.
