RasGas holds Qatarisation celebration

More than 750 employees of the RasGas Company and many high profile guests took part in the second annual Qatarisation celebration, as Qatar prepares to celebrate its national day.
The guests included Dr Sheikha Abdulla Al Misnad, president of Qatar University; Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, managing director of Qatar Petroleum; and Issa Mohammed Al Mohannadi, chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority, who reflected on the company’s ongoing commitment to quality Qatarisation.
As part of the celebration, RasGas recognised 161 Qatari employees, who have completed significant milestones in their careers, and also their coaches and mentors, who played a pivotal role in empowering national talents.
Hamad Rashid Al Mohannadi, chief executive officer, said: “In RasGas, we focus on sustainable development through creating a comprehensive learning organisation.
“We provide a structured system of recruitment, on the job training, coaching, mentoring and career development, with the aim of attracting, retaining and developing quality nationals.”
