Emirates Transport in big rental, fleet management deals
DUBAI, May 23, 2018
The Emirates Centre for Transport and Leasing of Emirates Transport (ET) has completed a series of new and renewed three- to five-year contracts signed in April with major customers from the government and private sectors, which are valued at around Dh60 million ($16 million).
Last month, the centre had signed new contracts to offer transport and rental services, manage fleets of nearly 1,500 vehicles, and provide over 300 qualified drivers and technicians, said a statement from ET.
The ET move comes as part of its aims to offer a package of competitive services to support the activities of various companies, organisations and academic institutions, by providing transport services and long-term rentals, it stated.
A fleet of 6,000 vehicles will be driven by 2,000 qualified drivers who have completed relevant training programmes, thus highlighting the ET’s efforts to fulfill its contracts and achieve customer satisfaction and happiness, it added.
Tariq AlSedawi, the manager of ET, said the centre's expertise and accomplishments, its commitment to offering quality services, and its wide geographical coverage to ensure services for all its customers have enabled it to achieve record growth and complete the contracts, especially in the areas of transport, communication and integrated logistical services.
ET, he stated, has employed its transport services expertise, in co-operation with leading government and private companies and organisations, by providing consistent transport and rental services for various sectors, including by transporting groups and individuals, as well as food, petroleum, medical equipment and hazardous materials.
"The ET crowned its success by the signing of the contracts last month," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
