Al-Futtaim Motors, the exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Toyota material handling equipment in the UAE, has appointed Bertrand Thiebaut as senior managing director.

 

He will overlook the business and maintain the company’s position as the leading automotive dealer in the UAE, said a statement.

 

Prior to joining Al-Futtaim Motors, Thiebaut was in the automotive business with some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers in America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa, it said.

 

His latest role was with CFAO, a multinational company engaged in the sale of manufactured goods, pharmaceutical products and automobiles via CFAO Automotive Equipment & Services, where he held the position of automotive chief executive officer for the past six years and was responsible for leading the business across multiple countries that encompassed some of the world's most renowned automotive brands, including Toyota and Lexus. - TradeArabia News Service
