Uber denies claim in Bahrain taxis row

A controversial taxi company has defended itself following criticism from competitors in Bahrain, who are now threatening to stage a one-day strike. Uber Technologies is facing heat from local taxi drivers who claim there is not enough regulation of Uber drivers or their metering system, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
