MAN unveils big plans for Mena
Manama, October 23, 2012
MAN Truck and Bus brought its dealers from the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region to the International Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) commercial vehicles trade show in Hanover, Germany, highlighting its innovative approach to serving the regional market.
"MAN in Bahrain has had an excellent year and the order bank is continuing to grow, resulting in us being able to increase our market share over the regional level," said AMA Motors Bahrain general manager Simon Keen.
"MAN continues to steer the market when it comes to safety, reliability, comfort, environmental friendliness, economical operation and superior payload delivery," remarked Keen.
"The discussions held during IAA prove that MAN continues to invest in ways it can better serve the Mena market," it added.
"AMA Motors Bahrain is striving to deliver on its core value - of not just selling a vehicle but offering customers a complete transportation solution for their needs," he added.
"This year we have seen a booming market in Bahrain with positive vehicle demand and the entire team in Bahrain has set out to improve on the levels of service provided to our customers," said MAN Middle East vice-president sales and marketing David van Graan.
"We have grown our market share in Saudi, Jordan and Bahrain, and the recent uptake of forward production slots from Bahrain, UAE and Oman will also translate into delivered market share before year-end," noted van Graan.
"MAN Truck and Bus will deliver around 5,000 trucks into an active market segment of around 15,000 units," he added.
