Trading Enterprises, exclusive distributor of Volvo cars in the UAE, has signed a deal to supply 80 MY11 Volvo V70 station wagons to Europcar as part of their contract to provide conveyance for Emirates’ flight crew.

The deal represents the first major purchase of Volvo models for Europcar in recent years.

This is a significant milestone for the Al-Futtaim group company and follows the contract signed earlier this year to supply chauffeur driven Volvo cars for Emirates Airlines’ Business Class passengers.

The deal was signed by Colin Cordery, managing director, Trading Enterprises and Vijay Kumar, group general manager Europcar (Dubai, N. Emirates and Qatar).

“Trading Enterprises has  enjoyed a long standing relationship with Emirates Airlines and we are delighted to strengthen this further through the collaboration with Europcar,” said Colin Cordery.-TradeArabia News Service
