Riyadh, May 29, 2008
Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and part of Bamarouf Group, will intensify sales activities at its Al Madina Al Monawara area in Saudi Arabia.
The aim is to capitalise on the rapidly-growing automotive market and further consolidate the company’s strategy to reinforce Suzuki in Al Madina Al Monawara where Suzuki will launch two new showrooms, said an official spokesman.
Suzuki automobiles are enjoying increased popularity in Saudi Arabia where they are gaining a reputation for their cost-effectiveness, energy efficiency, comfort, and safety.
Suzuki automobiles are highly suited for Saudi Arabia’s varied road conditions, which require vehicles that integrate the highest safety standards. Suzuki models have received high overall ratings in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, particularly the XL-7 sport utility vehicle.
“As the only distributor of Suzuki’s passenger and commercial vehicles in the Kingdom, we continue to address the increasing consumer demand for Suzuki various vehicles (Sedan, 4x4 vehicles and commercial range) and aim to increase our share in Saudi’s automotive market by enhancing our show rooms and aggressively training our staff to maintain the highest level of service,” said sales manager, Suzuki Saudia, Ahmed Shamaile.
“Our efforts to boost activities at our Al Madina Al Monawara reflect our commitment to responding to emerging markets and consumer segments and also form part of market consolidation initiatives throughout the country.”
Suzuki Saudi has increased its network from 16 branches in 2005 to more than 21 at present as part of its strategy to establish customer access points near key markets.
The company continues to leverage its dense showroom network to provide industry-leading services to its broad user base, which ranges from young drivers to small families. Its expansion efforts are in line with the wise Saudi government vision of establishing a strong national automotive industry within the next 10 years. – TradeArabia News Service
