Crackdown vowed on tobacco traders exploiting customers

MANAMA, February 10, 2016

Bahraini authorities have announced a crackdown on traders trying to exploit consumers following an increase in import duty on tobacco. This followed reports that the sudden increase announced on Monday (February 8) had led to confusion and panic buying yesterday, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
