84 Bahraini officers ‘facing criminal charges’

MANAMA, November 12, 2015

A total of 84 policemen, including 16 senior officials, have been referred to courts in Bahrain to face charges relating to police misconduct, it has emerged. They are standing trial for torture, assault that led to death, mistreatment, battery and other criminal offences, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
