Alarm in Bahrain over surge in cyclists’ deaths

More cyclists were killed on Bahrain’s roads in the first eight months of this year than the whole of 2014, it has been revealed. Troubling new figures released yesterday (September 13) by the General Directorate of Traffic showed that the average number of fatalities per month between January and August was more than double the monthly average of last year, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
