Dubai Courts advances 11 places in customer satisfaction

DUBAI, April 13, 2015

Dubai Courts has been ranked ninth in the ‘Customer Satisfaction’ category under the ‘Dubai Government Excellence Program 2015,’ climbing 11 places up from the previous year.

The progress is a result of the significant improvements attained by Dubai Courts, specifically in raising the level of its customer satisfaction to 92.3 per cent to confirm its commitment to provide facilities and the best legal and advisory services designed to enhance the well-being of customers and the community, said a statement.

The achievement is the outcome of the Dubai Courts’ tireless and ambitious efforts to adopt and implement innovation and smart transformation, it said.

The organisation aims to fully shift to ‘smart’ services by the end of the and have a total of 210 smart services designed specifically for legal and judicial transactions in order to increase customer satisfaction further and achieve the highest degree of happiness for the services it renders as part of Dubai’s ‘Happiness Index’ initiative.

To date, Dubai Courts has already launched 110 smart services, the most important being the ‘Al-Salfa’ programme for case registration and electronic transactions and ‘Smart Detention,’ a first-of-its-kind programme in the region which enables enforcement bailiffs to complete all detention procedures and processes through smart tablet-based applications in order to accelerate the enforcement of judicial decisions and judgments.

Dubai Courts has also launched a ‘Private Notary’ service that ensures compliance with World Bank standards on notary practice, and a ‘Sure’ service that provide the best free legal advice to clients across local attorney offices.

Another initiative, ‘Centre for Amicable Settlements of Disputes,’ works on resolving civil, commercial and real estate disputes amicably in just half an hour, in addition to opening a number of personal status centers in the most vital areas in the emirate to ensure access to a wider range of customers.

Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, director general, Dubai Courts, emphasised that his organisation will spare no effort to improve the quality of legal and judicial services provided to customers to meet their needs in accordance with the highest standards of efficiency, speed and professional standards.

The Courts’ commitment to continuously updating its full service portfolio to further enhance and develop Dubai’s judicial system and help consolidate its leading position on the global legal map, he noted.

Aside from its achievement under the customer satisfaction category, Dubai Courts also improved its human resource satisfaction to 83 per cent to rank seventh among government departments and bodies. Moreover, Dubai Courts also received the Dubai Excellence Award in recognition of its ‘Sure’ service which has performed strongly over the recent period.

Meanwhile, Omar Mohammed Sharif Harmozi, one of its staff, also won the ‘Creative Employee Award’ as well in recognition of his effective contributions in support of the work of the Dubai Courts. - TradeArabia News Service
