Jebal expands into GCC foodservice sector

Dubai, February 9, 2015

Jebal, a UAE-based supplier of fresh, high quality foodstuffs with a focus on the Moroccan region, has launched into the GCC foodservice sector at the ongoing Gulfood 2015.

After building a solid network of major retail partners, the company has now expanded its customer-base to include a number of high profile Horeca clients such as Jumeirah, Kempinski, Starwood and Accor, said a statement.

The move comes three years after Jebal launched in the UAE as the market leader in high quality fresh produce, it said.

It currently offers a versatile range of fresh, chilled, frozen and dry goods underpinned by the values of safety, quality, consistency and therefore, value for money. Products include fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, gourmet food, grocery and cosmetics.

Driss Dehbi, managing director and founder of Jebal, said: ‘’Our priority has always been to forge relationships that are built on trust, where our clients know we will deliver consistently high quality products. We have spent time consolidating our retail network and we are now able to offer the same quality promise in the foodservice sector.

“A major part of our strategy is to source the products directly where possible, in order to maintain excellence and ensure value for money. We aim to be a one-stop shop for Horeca clients looking for the freshest items including fruit and vegetables, fish, meat and dairy.’’ - TradeArabia News Service
