Leading supplier of innovative X-ray detection solutions, American Science and Engineering (AS&E), has won a contract to provide Abu Dhabi Customs with cargo and vehicle security solutions.

The contract is for two Omni View Gantry cargo and vehicle inspection systems with dual-energy for material discrimination, one Z Portal cargo and vehicle screening system to protect the new Khalifa port, a statement from American Science said.

Khalifa Port will become one of the largest ports in the world when all phases are completed, the statement said.
