Comedian Russell Peters will return to Dubai and Abu Dhabi with an all-new act as part of his ‘Notorious World Tour’ next month.

The Dubai show will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on March 20, presented by Live Nation.  The Abu Dhabi show will take place at the Flash Forum on March 22, presented by Flash Entertainment.  

Tickets for both shows go on-sale at midday on February 29 at www.timeouttickets.com and www.ticketingco.com for Dubai and www.thinkflash.ae for Abu Dhabi.  Ticket prices range from Dh250 to Dh550.

It’s been almost four years since the globally renowned comedian has toured the region. In 2007, Peters sold one ticket every two seconds for his Dubai performance, ultimately crashing all of the on-sale computer systems.  Peters returned in 2008 and sold over 10,000 tickets for his shows at the Madinat Arena.

“I love coming to the Middle East.  The fans there are true fans and I wish I could have come back sooner,” said Peters. 

The tour will take Peters not only to the Middle East, but South Africa, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Australia, New Zealand, Northern Europe and arenas across his native Canada and the US.

The tour also features New York City’s DJ Spinbad and Comedian Ruben Paul. – TradeArabia News Service
