Satya Paul at the Bride Show Dubai

Dubai, February 28, 2011

India’s premier designer label, Satya Paul, will take part in The Bride Show Dubai bringing his signature prints and exclusive bridal wear to the event.

The designer, who has recently celebrated 25 years in the fashion industry, is well known for his collections which are full of playful colours and innovative fabrics.

His fashion show will take place on the last day of The Bride Show Dubai, April 2, at 9pm in the Sheikh Saeed halls of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

The only fashion event of this scale in the Middle East open to the general public, The Bride Show Dubai hosts four days of bridal wear, haute couture evening wear, abaya and jelibaya collections to suit the multi-cultural nature of women in the UAE.

Fellow Indian designers, Anjali & Arun Kapoor and Salim Asgarally, who wowed The Bride Show crowds in Dubai in 2008 with their spectacular creations, will also take part this year.

Now in its 14th year, The Bride Show Dubai has become well known for attracting leading names from the Middle East and Asian regions.

Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis, both firm Bollywood’s favourites, Ahmed Al Reyaysa, the UAE’s Kind of Wedding Dresses, and Julea Domani, the winner of last year’s Best Female Designer for Prêt a Porter have all graced the catwalk of the wedding fair.

And in February, The Bride Show Abu Dhabi hosted flamboyant celebrity fashion designer Tony Yaacoub, who flew in from Lebanon to show his spectacular bridal gowns.

The Bride Show Dubai attracts approximately 300 exhibitors from around the world who showcase traditional and contemporary wedding wear, beauty products, jewellery, wedding venues options and honeymoon destinations.

The Bride Show Dubai opens on March 30 and runs until April 2.-TradeArabia News Service
