Bahrain to install surveillance cameras

Surveillance cameras are to be installed across Bahrain in a bid to preserve lives, protect property, reduce accidents and avoid economic losses.
The decision was taken as His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, on Monday.
The Premier and Crown Prince then reviewed efforts to boost safety on the nation's roads.
They vowed to improve services, infrastructure and the country's transportation network 'to preserve lives, protect property, reduce accidents and avoid economic losses.'
Speed cameras will be erected everywhere to help achieve these aims, they added.
In other developments, HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince hailed His Majesty King Hamad's directives that underlined national action features, when he chaired the Cabinet meeting.
They lauded royal directives in building momentum and motivation for citizens to participate in the national march. They stressed that success and leadership have become characteristic of the prosperous era of His Majesty.
The Crown Prince hailed The Premier's crucial role in building the nation and its growth and development in various fields.-TradeArabia News Service
