Heinz opens regional HQ at DAFZ

Heinz Africa and Middle East recently moved its office to Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZ), according to a stateemnt.

Bill Johnson, chairman, president and CEO of global food company H J Heinz met the Heinz staff at the new office location recently. He was accompanied by Mike Milone, senior vice president and Steve Clark, chief people officer.

Dr Mohammed Al Zarouni, director general of DAFZ welcomed the Heinz leadership to DAFZ over a lunch event.  Dr Al Zarouni emphasised the increasing focus of the free zone to attract large multinational companies to invest in Dubai.

He added that this visit clearly signifies the importance that H J Heinz is attaching to its Africa and Middle East business and pledged full support stressing that the free zone always dealt with its investors as strategic partners.

Johnson expressed that he was pleased that the company had established its branch office in DAFZ and said the company would benefit from the facilities and high quality of service. – TradeArabia News Service
