Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone (RAK FTZ) partnered with RAK Civil Defence Authority, tosponsor ‘RAK Civil Defence Day’ this month,  in a move to promote fire safety and prevention.

Heralding the slogan “Civil Defence and Preventive Information and Communication Techniques” the RAK Civil Defence Day promotes information on fire safety by distributing brochures and putting up outdoor advertisements.

In an effort to increase awareness about fire prevention and safety in their clients and employees, RAK FTZ organised a mini exhibition at RAK FTZ’s Technology Park in conjunction with RAK Civil Defence Authority.

The campaign, the first of its kind to be conducted by the Civil Defence outside their premises included exhibits of fire safety equipments and lectures.

A live demonstration was also held to show the practical side of the lectures on how to use the different fire-fighting equipment properly.-TradeArabia News Service
