Abu Dhabi Media Company, one of the largest media firms in the region, has appointed Gavin Dickinson as executive director of publishing.
Dickinson will oversee a portfolio of brands including The National, Al Ittihad, Zahrat Al Khaleej , Majid and Super and take responsibility for the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, United Printing and Publishing (UPP), and ADMC’s distribution company Tawsee.
Edward Borgerding, CEO of Abu Dhabi Media Company, said: “Our publishing group is one of the strongest in the region with an integrated printing, distribution, and marketing operations that support some of the best print brands in the UAE and Mena region.”
He added: “With Gavin’s dynamic leadership and proven track record, our publishing business is well-positioned for a period of extended growth.”

Dickinson’s track record includes commercial roles with the UK’s Mail on Sunday, Times Media in South Africa and The Express newspaper. Most recently, he was chief commercial officer for a Dubai-based media company.- TradeArabia News Service
