Brunswick Group names Abu Dhabi office head
ABU DHABI, September 22, 2018
Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specialising in critical issues and corporate relations, has promoted Heather Salmond as the head of its Abu Dhabi office. She joined the group in 2012 as a partner based in the UAE.
Salmond has 20 years’ international communications experience working in London, New York and the Middle East and has advised on corporate and financial communications including reputation management, M&A, IPOs and investor relations.
She provides strategic counsel for a wide range of businesses across the Mena region and across various sectors, from financial services to oil and gas as well as TMT, education and healthcare.
Salmond had advised international companies on communicating their equity growth stories through transactions, capital raising and special situations.

Welcoming the appointment, CEO Neal Wolin said: "Since she joined Brunswick, Salmond has been essential to the growth of our Gulf business. Her appointment, he stated, would further strengthen the group's management capabilities in the UAE.

Prior to Brunswick, Salmond led the financial practice for a large, international communications firm across the Middle East. She has written various guides on “Communicating an IPO” and has been a regular speaker on the subject, joining the London Stock Exchange on its presentations around the world.
