Starz Play signs deal with Warner Bros

Starz Play, an on-demand video streaming service available in 19 countries across the Mena region, has signed a multi-year agreement with Warner Bros International Television Distribution.
The deal with one of the world’s largest distributors of feature films, television programs and animation will enable Starz Play to acquire more premium content from a leading Hollywood studio, said a statement.
From January, Starz Play will have access to hit TV shows such as superhero show The Flash, fantasy comic series DC's Legends of Tomorrow, action-adventure Supergirl, and the mysterious crime drama Blindspot.
Also included in the deal will be the ability to stream on-demand all 10 seasons of what is arguably the most popular television series of all time – the 62 Primetime Emmy Award-winning Friends.

Starz Play subscribers can now enjoy more than 6,000 hours of entertainment, including 1,800 hours of dedicated Arabic content and more than 2,500 hours dubbed into French. Developed exclusively for the Mena region, Starz Play also features one-click Arabic subtitling plus Arabic and French user interface options, the statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
