Dubai Parks and Resorts has announced plans to change the company’s name to dXb Entertainments.

The company’s board of directors have agreed to add a new item to the company’s general assembly meeting agenda in this regard, said a statement.

dXb Entertainments is the proposed name for the corporate entity while Dubai Parks and Resorts will continue to be the name of the region’s largest integrated theme park destination, featuring motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai and Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park, opening in October this year.

An updated General Assembly meeting invitation reflecting this new agenda item as well as the proposed amendments to the company’s Articles of Association have been published on the Dubai Financial Market website www.dfm.ae as well as the company’s corporate website www.dprcorporate.ae.

The general assembly meeting will be held on June 23 at 2:00pm at the Taj Hotel, Business Bay, Dubai. – TradeArabia News Service
