Dubai Courts launches new ‘Smart Inheritance’ app
DUBAI, February 20, 2016
Dubai Courts has launched ‘Smart Inheritance,’ the latest addition to its growing portfolio of smart applications.
Available in both English and Arabic versions, the new app has been designed to help facilitate faster completion of legal transactions concerning inheritance issues between heirs, agents and guardians, said a statement from Dubai Courts.
The release of ‘Smart Inheritance’ is expected to drive in an 80 per cent reduction in clients, which means that they no longer have to go to Dubai Courts to file for their claims and instead do the process online, it stated,
The new app is based on an interactive methodology that aims to help customers with their inheritance claims and other related issues like certification, supplies inheritance portions, debt and exchange of assessments, said Dubai Courts in its statement.
Dubai Courts has experienced remarkable progress in the shift towards smart governance, following the recent launch of a wide range of smart services, which was made available through one smart application - the first of its kind initiative in the world, it added.
Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, the director-general of Dubai Courts, shared that the newly-launched smart app is part of Dubai Courts’ continuing commitment towards providing world class, highly interactive, excellent and efficient services that will not only result in high performance indicators but also make legal transactions faster and easier to complete - making customers happier and more satisfied.
‘Smart Inheritance’ was implemented under the directives of the UAE’s wise leadership and is one of the many smart apps scheduled to be launched this year to help reduce the number of customers by 80 per cent - encouraging them further to use the available smart apps online, he stated.
"The new service, which will help our clients save time and effort, also demonstrates the great importance that we have placed towards the development of integrated smart and innovative services," said Al Mansouri.
"We are confident that this new service will receive strong response from our customers and reinforce Dubai Courts’ efforts to position itself as a model for the global judiciary industry," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
