Display of time in myriad designs highlighted at Dubai expo
DUBAI, November 12, 2015
The Gallery at Emaar Pavilion, Dubai’s hub for culture and arts, is hosting an exclusive exhibition, ‘The Ticking of Time,’ which depicts the concept of time creatively interpreted through design creations by accomplished international designers.
On view until December 31, ‘The Ticking of Time’ aims at teasing the curiosity of visitors and reassessing their appreciation of time.
It provides the opportunity to experience coordinated, feared, disposable, vintage and luxurious ways of reading time, said a statement.
Curated by Cyril Zammit, Design Days Dubai fair director and director of Design at Art Dubai Group, the exhibition features works by renowned designers such as Maarten Baas, Formafantasma, Humans Since 1982, Susanna Hertrich, Frank Buchwald and L’Epee 1839 & MB&F.
The Gallery is an essential component of Emaar Pavilion, a dedicated centre showcasing all of Emaar’s iconic projects.
It also complements the ongoing development of The Opera District, a vibrant cultural destination in Downtown Dubai, anchored by the iconic Dubai Opera, a multi-format theatre for opera, ballet, concerts, art exhibitions, orchestra, film and seasonal programmes. - TradeArabia News Service
