King Hamad leads Bahrain's Eid Al Fitr prayers

His Majesty King Hamad today performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque in Bahrain along with other senior officials. He also exchanged cables of congratulations with the leaders of GCC, Arab and other Islamic countries.
 
Attending the prayers alongside His Majesty were his sons including HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, along with senior members of the royal family, the Chairman of the Shura Council, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, ministers, and senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Guard, reported BNA.
 
The Eid sermon was delivered by Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajiri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, highlighting the importance of family ties, social connection, and the values of solidarity and compassion during the blessed days of Eid. 
 
Citizens and residents performed Eid Al Fitr prayers at designated mosques and prayer areas across the Kingdom of Bahrain.
 
Following the prayers, His Majesty King Hamad exchanged Eid Al Fitr greetings with attendees and expressed appreciation for their well wishes. 
 
His Majesty also extended congratulations to the people of the Kingdom of Bahrain on the occasion, praying that Allah Almighty accept everyone’s good deeds and returns the occasion with many blessings and prosperity upon the Kingdom, its people, and the Arab and Islamic nations.
