Saudi Arabian musician Majid Al Mohandis performed at the Bahrain National Theatre last night (July 21), concluding the five-day Eid festivities.

The event was held as part of the Bahrain Summer Festival 2015 organised by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Also at the theatre on July 30 will be ‘The Charm of the East,’ a tribute by the Abdel-Halim Nuweira Ensemble to Egyptian musician Umm Kulthoom on the 40th anniversary of her death.

A selection of her songs will be performed at the concert organised in co-operation with the Egyptian Embassy.

Tickets for the concert are free, and will be available at Bahrain National Museum starting from July 28. - TradeArabia News Service
