Women leaders’ challenges in focus at Dubai meet

The challenges and concerns to global women leaders was the focus of a conference as part of the 105th International Women's Day celebration in Dubai, UAE recently.
The 18th Global Women Leaders Conference, which was organised by Datamatix at the Burj Al Arab, featured thought-provoking presentations from elite personalities on current topics.
It commenced with Fawzia Hassan Gharib, assistant undersecretary for the Educational Operations from UAE’s Ministry of Education, enlightening the audience with her experiences and journey, inspiring young women leaders to take a strong stance in aspiring for senior leadership positions and and lead a good hand in leading the nation.
Ali Al Kamali, managing director of Datamatix, talked about the journey that the conference has successfully covered and transpired as one of the most successful women leaders events regionally and globally. His opening presentation drew reports from the global GDPs and the contribution of women leadership to the growing economy and inspired the next generation of women leaders to aspire and acquire international senior leadership positions.
Other topics covered included the global leadership criteria and women leaders' empowerment in international positions; ‘Empowering Women Leaders in Diversified Industries’; ‘Empowering Women Leaders in Senior Positions and Corporate Board Member’; case studies; and interactive question and answer sessions on global women leadership and success criterion in the 21 century. - TradeArabia News Service
