ADM named media partner of Globe Soccer Awards

Abu Dhabi Media (ADM), a multi-platform media organisation in the Middle East, has been named the official media partner of the Globe Soccer Awards, which honours football personalities, next week in Dubai, UAE.
The event, held annually in the UAE, will take place on December 29 at Atlantis the Palm, within the Dubai Football Gala organised by Dubai Sports Council in partnership with BC Bendoni group.
The event will honour players, coaches, referees and football personalities for their achievements at one of football’s most exclusive global events.
Abu Dhabi Media will conduct exclusive interviews with the world’s most renowned and influential football players, coaches and personalities throughout the conference.
Fans will enjoy exclusive coverage from Abu Dhabi Sports, which will begin with a special live studio analysis at 7pm. Live broadcast of the awards ceremony will also be taking place, providing in-depth analysis on the winners, in addition to exclusive interviews with the winners and attendees.
Additionally Star FM’s ‘Xtra Sport’, presented by Haitham Obaid, will broadcast live from the event. Editorials as well as exclusive interviews will be on offer from both Al Ittihad and The National. Both publications will also be presenting a special video on its website showcasing the highlights from the event and conversation with a high-profile football star.
Abu Dhabi Media’s audiences will have the chance to meet football stars and attend the awards ceremony through a joint competition organised by Al Ittihad, The National, Star FM and Abu Dhabi Sports.

At the 2013 edition of the event, Portuguese Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded the Globe Soccer Award for the ‘Fans Favourite Player’, while Juventus manager Antonio Conte was awarded the ‘Best Coach of the Year’ Award. Additionally, the Spanish Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola was named the ‘Most Successful Coach’ and ‘Best Media Attraction in Football’, in recognition of his international achievements and success throughout his coaching career.
FC Bayern Munich was selected as Globe Soccer’s ‘Best Club of the Year’, with its very own French-born Frank Ribery receiving the ‘Globe Soccer Award 2013’. FC Barcelona star, Spanish Xavi Hernandez, was recognized for his exceptional performance with the ‘Player Career Award’.
The UAE’s national football team manager, Mahdi Ali, was awarded the GCC Coach of the Year award, in recognition of his success in leading the UAE national team to victory at the Gulf Cup of Nations in 2013. – TradeArabia News Service
