New BNA office is inaugurated

Bahrain News Agency’s new premises was inaugurated by the kingdom’s Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa.
Minister of State for Information and the government's official spokeswoman Sameera Rajab, the Information Affairs Authority president Ali Al Rumaihi and general-directors attended.
The building has been constructed and equipped for the role of the national media as per international standards.
"I had been present during the creation of this national news agency back in 1976 which used to be known at that time as the Gulf News Agency," Shaikh Mohammed said.
"Today, 38 years have elapsed since its establishment and the BNA continues to uphold the principles of freedom of expression, transparency, credibility and excellent performance, keeping up with latest professional and technological developments in the field as well as portraying Bahrain's impeccable image in line with the kingdom's Economic Vision 2030," he added. - TradeArabia News Service
