Sharjah Ladies Club set to hold fashion expo

Sharjah, July 6, 2014

Sharjah Ladies Club is set to hold an exhibition featuring collections of Abayas and Shaylas, dresses, jewellery, children’s garments, Eid garments, home accessories, gifts in addition to a daily Suhoor as well as daily draws for prizes.

Sponsored by Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the women only Ebriez Fashion Exhibition at the club’s Kunooz Ballroom will run from 9 pm to 1m from July 8 to 12.

A portion of the proceeds of the exhibition will be donated to the Big Heart Campaign, which was launched in support of Syrian refugee children by Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.

The activity will include a lecture on positive energy scheduled to be delivered by Hala Kazim, the social consultant and founder of Journey Through Change.

Ameera Al Jariri, Events and Public Relations manager at Sharjah Ladies Club, said: “Organising the Ebriez Fashion Exhibition in the Holy Month of Ramadan gives women the opportunity to be involved in benevolent deeds and to contribute to charitable causes, as a part of the proceeds will be donated to the Big Heart Campaign.

“The exhibition, also, caters to the women’s need for fashion, accessories, and Eid gifts. All the items on display have been carefully selected to fit the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid.”

Al Jaziri affirmed the club’s eagerness to host events and activities for ladies and their children during Ramadan and Eid, including exhibitions, workshops and training courses, as the club is keen to keep the women and their children positively occupied and entertained, and to allow children to have fun, hone their talents, and develop their skills during the summer holiday. – TradeArabia News Service
