WorkSmart signs new partnership deal

WorkSmart has signed a partnership agreement with Daily Public Relations to help its regional expansion in the exhibitions and conferences industry.
"We will be getting along together effectively to expand further horizons, particularly with the proliferation of the company's activities in the Gulf," WorkSmart chief executive Ahmed Al Hujairi was quoted as saying in a report in the Gulf Daily News, our sister publication.
'The exhibitions and conferences industry is growing regionally and globally, with 500,000 exhibitions worth $300 billion being held annually," he added.
The company organised the Bahraini Pavilion at GulfFood Exhibitor 2014 in Dubai recently.
Daily Public Relations chief executive Mahmood Al Nasheet said the agreement with WorkSmart enabled it to expand its horizons beyond Bahrain.
He said the local exhibitions and conferences industry has been seeing good growth.
Bahrain Exhibition and Convention Authority data showed 95 events were held at the exhibition centre last year with the participation of 3,600 visitors.
The leased area was 2.2 million square metres, and the total visitors' number was 450,000.-TradeArabia News Service
