Al Fajer unveils sourcing fair in Mexico

Al Fajer Information & Services, the Dubai-based exhibition organiser, and Mexican National Association of Supermarkets and Department Stores (ANTAD), have announced a partnership to launch Mega Sourcing Fair (MSF), a new specialised show to be held in Mexico in March 2015.
Targeted at importers, volume buyers and purchasing managers who aim to source directly from competitive and quality suppliers from all over the world, the new show will showcase home products, household and home electronics, fashion accessories and beauty products.
Satish Khanna, general manager of Al Fajer Information & Services, said: “We are thrilled to announce the launch of this new show and our partnership with ANTAD. As a Dubai based company that handles major exhibitions in the UAE, this is a huge leap for us. The local sector is steadily gaining attention from international organisations, thus boosting the Emirate’s position on the global front.”
“MSF will supplement the sourcing needs for various buying seasons. It will certainly answer the need of buyers who want to source new products from new suppliers on a more regular basis from all over the world,” Khanna added.

“We have chosen Mexico to launch this show because it is the seventh largest economy in the world and the eleventh in purchasing power. The country is also ranked eleventh on the global ranking of population size, with a population of over 113.7 million,” Alvarez added.
