Akhbar Al Khaleej website wins top e-Content award

The Gulf Daily News' sister newspaper, Akhbar Al Khaleej, has won a major award setting a national benchmark in e-Content.

The Akhbar Al Khaleej website has won the Bahrain e-Content Award 2013 in the e-Media and Journalism category, said a report in the GDN, our sister publication.

The newspaper's editor-in-chief Anwar Abdulrahman received the award from Deputy Premier and Supreme Committee for Information and Communications Technology chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa in a ceremony at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel.

The award citation said the website, (www.akhbar-alkhaleej.com), has rich content, covering majority of news locally and worldwide.
